(Español) Acto de paz: un segundo de naturaleza es un libro hecho con pigmentos de la tierra, recuerdos, líquenes nativos y saberes. Este libro es resultado del taller "La Memoria del Bosque", proyecto que pone en valor las experiencias e historias de distintas generaciones que conforman el patrimonio biocultural de Curarrehue. Mediante la creación de un fanzine colectivo, los/as participantes plasmaron en estas páginas sus diversas formas de relacionarse con la naturaleza, los alimentos y prácticas como la recolección, manifestándose a través de la exploración con la mancha y el dibujos. Para dar vida a este libro, se utilizaron pigmentos y lápices pasteles artesanales, elaborados a partir de la recolección de muestras naturales de Bosque Pehuén, laboratorio al aire libre y área de conservación privada ubicada en La Araucanía Andina. Este proyecto fue realizado por la Fundación Mar Adentro en colaboración con la investigadora Constanza Monterrubio y la artista Sandra Marín.

Educational Workbook for Pewen: The Earth Will Say

An educational work book that offers a guide for teachers and/or facilitators of mediation activities linked to the documentary "Pewen: The Earth Will Say" based on the methodology of Project-based Learning and film education. Through the proposed activities, teachers will be able to work on creative tools with their students to motivate audiovisual analysis, work on the value of empathy with non-human species, and form an environmental awareness around araucarias or pewen. This material has been prepared by Gaticine - Center for the social development of cinema at the invitation of Fundación Mar Adentro.

Educational Notebook for Expanded Nature Exhibition

Created by the education team of the La Moneda Cultural Center in collaboration with Fundación Mar Adentro's education team, this notebook is an invitation for teachers to engage with the contents of the exhibition "Expanded nature: making the invisible visible", on view at Galería del Heritage, CCLM, in multiple ways. A pedagogical tool capable of stimulating critical reflections on natural heritage and the power of multidisciplinary projects through a series of activities and content. (Currently only available in Spanish)

Fundación Mar Adentro Cultural Program for IMPAC4

Our proposal was to carry out a cultural program within the Fourth International Congress of Marine Protected Areas, IMPAC4 held in Coquimbo, Chile, 2017. A program that inserted contemporary art in conservation to bring marine conservation issues closer to citizens, which considered the installation of Cubo Arte, a concert by our collaborators of Toki NGO–pianist Mahani Teave and the singer Enrique Icka -, artistic workshops, and a program for teachers.

Cubo Arte Program

Outdoor make-shift video art installation on the waterfront for IMPAC 4, 2017: seven internationally renowned contemporary artists whose works present topics such as ocean conservation, fishing practices, the impact of migrations in coastal areas, the historical accounts of marine animals, all works that pose to stop and reflect on the relationships between human beings and the sea.
