Our educational experience the EdTech International Seminar: “Education in movement”

On November 24, our Foundation participated in the EdTech International Seminar: Education in movement, organized by Grupo Educativo and Microsoft Education. During the seminar, we had the opportunity to learn and dialogue about various experiences of educational innovation and its cultural impact in Latin America and the Caribbean, with the active participation of Spanish-speaking persons from different latitudes.

Representing Fundación Mar Adentro were Juan Pablo Vergara, Head of Outreach, and María Jesús Olivos, Territorial Community Outreach Coordinator. The participants spoke about new ways of teaching during the pandemic and addressed some of the Foundation’s projects, such as Polygonal forest–a virtual meeting in a humid temperate forest that was part of the Ars electronica festival–and Sala Libre: Exercises to awaken our curiosity.

Other participants included Microsoft’s Mariana Maggio, Paulina Araneda from Grupo Educativo, Leonardo Leottau from Fundación Mustakis, Constanza Diaz from Technovation Girls and Marcela Momberg.

You can watch our participation from minute 1:28:00.
