Active Teachers Program in IMPAC 4

Fundación Mar Adentro, participant and sponsor of IMPAC 4–International Marine Protected Areas Congress–to be held in La Serena between the 4th until the 8th of September, made an upon call to apply to their IMPAC 4 Active teacher's program which seeks to invite professional, teachers, and postgraduate students of ocean studies to attend and participate in the Congress. Here is a list of those who were selected.

Eighteen professionals involved in scientific research and teaching of ocean studies will be invited by Fundación Mar Adentro to participate in all four days of the Fourth International Marine Protected Areas Congress. In addition to being able to attend the various presentations and to meet and exchange views with their peers, the selected Active Teachers will have a change to become aware of problems and advances in marine conservation of the region of Coquimbo.

This invitation is a part of Fundación Mar Adentro’s Active Teachers Program, which seeks to contribute in the continuous training of teachers and professionals from the different regions of Chile who research and/or work in art, culture, and conservation.
