Open-call for our Active Teacher 2021 program for Araucanía Educators

Until July 5, applications to our Active Teachers 2021 program will be open, which invites educators from Araucanía to live an interdisciplinary training experience on art, nature and territory.

All applicants must apply in pairs composed of teachers from different disciplines: one from the arts (music, visual arts, dance, theater, etc.) and another from an area of knowledge such as science, history, mathematics, among many others.

Those whose projects become selected will have the opportunity to live a learning experience and creative stimulation that will begin with a series of virtual meetings between teachers, members of the FMA team and special guests (due to the current context of the health crisis, the program will take place virtually). Thus, throughout the program, the selected teachers will participate in various instances of reflection, exchange of experiences, non-formal training on transdisciplinary methodologies and will experience creative stimulation linked to nature. Later, they will put into practice what they have experienced with the creation and implementation of an educational project in each of their teaching  establishments.

In a first stage, participants will be able to deepen and improve their projects with which they were selected, and with the advice of the Fundación Mar Adentro team and other collaborators, strengthen the initial proposals and apply the lessons learned in the various instances developed up to that moment within the program.

Selected educators will be given a contribution of $300,000 pesos to implement their project, which they must develop in pairs and with their students during the second semester of 2021 or the first semester of 2022.
