Mary Anne Müller



Social entrepreneur working in the areas of Sustainable Education, Environment, Health, and Education for Peace. Therapist and facilitator of workshops. Instructor for the Bodhisattva Peace Institute and Chagdud Gonpa (Tibetan Buddhism).


Mary Anne Müller has participated in the creation of several environmental organizations, volunteer groups in hospitals, prisons, and centers for women who have been victims of violence. Müller also imparts Bodhisattva Training Workshops for Peace in several countries to people from different economic sectors.

Founder and Executive Director of Fundación Origen and the Agroecological School of Pirque since 1991, institutions dedicated to the field of Technical Education and Sustainable Organic Agriculture for at-risk young adults living in socially vulnerable situations, farmers, teachers and social leaders of various countries. In 2011 Müller created the Institute for Peace and Sustainable Education, as a part of Fundación Origen, an institution dedicated to providing training workshops for teachers and social leaders.

Müller is also an Ashoka Fellow, member of Avina Foundation and Schwab Foundation. In 2007 she was granted Social Entrepeneur of the year by Schwab Foundation and the El Mercurio newspaper.
