Besides dyeing, creativity, innovation and teamwork, this version of the Colorearte competition included the concept of Entrepreneurship as one of its central themes, in order to prove that an entrepreneur is not necessarily related to the economic factor but is an attitude, a way of living and looking at life. For more information on entrepreneurship, Colorearte generated on its website a space specifically dedicated to this issue (visit “Emprendimiento Colorearte”), as well as a very didactic video called “La Ruta de Eddie“ (Eddie’s Route).
In 2012 the participants were asked to create a textile sculpture – with clothes dyed with aniline – representing the aspect they like best about the place where they live and afterwards give it to a student from another region of the country. That is why the 2012 competition is called “I give color to Chile”. “In this version of Colorearte, the idea is to encourage teamwork from the perspective of others”, emphasizes Patricia Reutter, CEO if Anilinas Montblanc.
