Art and nature are the core aspects of our Residency Program in Bosque Pehuén, a conservation area dedicated to proposing a dialogue and new perspectives between research and creation.
New Zealand Maori artist Charlotte Graham (1972), French artist Etienne de France (1984) and Chilean artist Gianfranco Foschino (1983) were the artists invited to participate in Fundación Mar Adentro’s 2017 Residency Program. This video portrays some of the activities carried out during the residency, testimonies on behalf of the artists about their experience in the forest, as well as images of the dialogue that took place in the National Museum of Natural History in Santiago.
The purpose of the residence was to generate reflections and new possibilities concerning possible connections between scientific research and artistic creation.
