The 2011 Colorearte competition “Matta, teñido y color” (Matta, dyeing and color) was launched

The 2011 Colorearte competition was launched on Tuesday, May 18, the eighth version of the dyeing school competition which in 2011 paid homage to the work of the renowned Chilean artist, Roberto Matta. Open to students from primary, secondary and/or special education across the country, this initiative is organized by Anilinas Montblanc, Fundación Mustakis and Fundación Mar Adentro.

The 2011 Colorearte competition was launched on Tuesday, May 18, the eighth version of the dyeing school competition which in 2011 paid homage to the work of the renowned Chilean artist, Roberto Matta. Open to students from primary, secondary and/or special education across the country, this initiative is organized by Anilinas Montblanc, Fundación Mustakis and Fundación Mar Adentro.
With this meeting, the 2011 Colorearte competition “Matta, Teñido y Color” was launched, an invitation to represent a work of this outstanding national artist.
The ceremony took place at the offices of the Fundación Mustakis, where the goals of the competition were stated, together with the audiovisual presentation of the history of this unique initiative in Chile, created seven years ago by Anilinas Montblanc.
colorearteThe launch was attended by Patricia Reutter, General Manager of Anilinas Montblanc, George Anasstasiou, CEO of Fundación Mustakis and Madeline Hurtado, Director of our foundation, as well as by the visual artists Andrés Vio and Carolina Galaz, who will be part of the 2011 jury.
