Colorearte 2013 “Bichos”(Bugs): the children take hold of the landscape across Chile

After five months of creative work, on Tuesday, October 2, 2013, teams of students from the first to the last level of schooling of Chile performed an Art Action with their art interventions on the landscape inspired by Bugs, theme of the 10th version of the Colorearte competition, an initiative organized by Anilinas Montblanc, Fundación Mustakis, Fundación Mar Adentro and Campus Creativo.

After five months of creative work, on Tuesday, October 2, 2013, teams of students from the first to the last level of schooling of Chile performed an Art Action with their art interventions on the landscape inspired by Bugs, theme of the 10th version of the Colorearte competition, an initiative organized by Anilinas Montblanc, Fundación Mustakis, Fundación Mar Adentro and Campus Creativo.
As in previous versions, the teams were classified in 5 categories: 1st to 4th grade, 5th to 8th grade, and students with special needs. In 2013, the number of registered students was 28,373 from 771 schools.
Fundación Mar Adentro visited and recorded the works of three schools from the city of (II Region):

The works were recorded through photographs and videos. Nine works were chosen from the total amount of works from all over Chile, and later on exhibited at the Museo de Bellas Artes from November 26, 2013.
