Almost twice the public than in 2011 attended the 26 activities and lectures offered, among others, by writer Almudena Grandes, intellectual Tzvetan Todorov, Alberto Manguel, the leading scientist Marco Iacoboni, Elicura Chihuailaf, filmmaker Marialy Rivas and playwright Gastón Salvatore.
The subjects discussed in this second version were: heritage, literature, philosophy, politics, music, poetry, science, theater and cinema, all of them delivered in an intimate and entertaining manner, bringing culture closer to the public through entertainment and dialogue.
“The event was a success in terms of attendance, but we must especially highlight the diversity, enthusiasm and participation of the audience. Each one of them lived his own Festival, choosing the activities they liked best, touring the port, its hills and alleys, rediscovering it in a learning adventure”, said Chantal Signorio, director of Fundación Puerto de Ideas.
The program also featured the circus theater, Crida Company, Fabiana Cozza’s bossanova and the haunting word of storyteller Carlos Genovese, who included this year a special program for children and youngsters.
